Our Story and mission
What happens when someone has an idea? They may share it with friends or on social media, but most of the time, nothing happens. Unless they work for the government, have a significant amount of money, or social influence - the idea gets forgotten. You never know who will create the next great idea. In 2017 we set out to figure out how to capture these ideas and allow innovation and progression to happen faster than ever. Our mission is to speed up the rate at which society progresses through more active sharing of knowledge.

Heard has been tested over and over again by users of all age groups and demographics. It also has been tested by members of the government on all levels, including those who work in the Executive Office of the President, United States Congress, mayor's offices, and school boards. We listened to our reviews very carefully and made sure to craft an application that is easy to use for all different types of citizens and provides meaningful information that governments can use to make decisions.
Our Founder, Sam Sanders
Our founder Sam is an expert in idea creation. Throughout his career, he has seen how the idea process works in society. He has started multiple startups both as part of a team and by himself. One company, Wundershirt, hit its peak and sold athletic training clothing to Olympic Athletes prepping for the 2016 Olympics. During the startup growth process, Sam has been part of multiple incubators and has watched and observed how many startups came to be. He also has worked for a company that was part of the INC 5000 fastest growing companies. Here he was selected to be a part of the R&D team to help work towards developing new products. Working at a fast-growing company allows you to see how the ideas come to fruition and how problems are handled by members of a successful small business team. Finally, he has worked on business development for a company that is part of Fortune’s Future 50 list and Fortune’s Fortune 500 list. Sam has been working with ideas for his whole career and has been observing ideas in society. This is what makes him the perfect founder of Heard. He brings a unique and expert business experience into a new space - idea creation and preservation in society.
